I take it that’s a 🙂 , Bonnie!
This just pops. Do you know what I mean? It is alive. Love it. While I am severely challenged in the art department (stick people are my forte) my 91 year old mom paints up a storm. So great to see someone else with such talent. Love it.

I fully intend to be painting up a storm when I’m 91, Kelly. My role model is Beatrice Wood. Her most productive years were between the ages of 80-105. She said she owed it all to art books, young men and chocolate. 🙂
This is so sweet. I had no idea you could do things like that on the ipad!

It’s absolutely amazing what you can do on an ipad, Tiffany. I love working large on canvas or wood panels but this is something that’s growing on me as well.
It certainly is impressive. I’m quite terrible at it no matter how hard I tried to bean an artist. I’ll have to stick with knitting – it works for me!

If you ever saw my kitting you’d know why I stick to painting, Tiffany 🙂
Susan, I like how you have chosen to clarify different elements of the painting (hair, little girl’s hands, etc.) by adding some brown line to the piece. It really helps to add dimension to the image. Thanks for sharing!!
I felt that they helped things pop, Jean. Glad you think so as well.
Susan, I am amazed! I have had an iPad for over a year and had no idea this was possible. I love these blog shares because there is always so much to learn! Would stay to chat longer…but I’m typing on my iPad…and I’m off to investigate your app!
If it’s any consolation Ruth, I had my iPad for over two years before I finally figure that out 🙂
Enjoy your discovery!
Huggs to you!! <3 Love your work! What app are you using to create your beautiful work? I would love to give it a try. I wanted to get back into watercolors, but find myself tied to my computer these days, and I was thinking doing something on the computer may be my outlet for now.
So far for this series Kelli I’m using Procreate.
Kudos to you for doing a challenge like this – beautiful work. Inspiring!
Thank you Vickie. I liken this series to practicing piano scales
