Little studio in the big woods is coming along.
Look at that. Mr. Spouse had a busy weekend. Got to love that man. Oh, I do…imagine that!
Got the windows in. Skylights in a week or two when the roof happens.
The start of the wiring. Now I have to figure out the lay of the under counter cabinets exactly and uber precise so Mr. Spouse knows just where to put the outlet boxes.
I alway love this view from the front door. Now that the gussets are up it looks even more like a little chapel. Because this is a sacred space you know. At least it is for me.
And that’s it for this week’s Construction Update.
Your new studio is going to be a fabulous place! Can’t wait to see you all moved in!
Me too, Judy. Right now I’m still figuring storage, layout and all that other ‘fun’ stuff. I think I’m going to do some serious de-cluttering before the move.
A sacred place to make Art..beautiful. I know how exciting it must be. I have noty built mine but moving into a big studio and workshop area has changed my life! so once it is finished..enjoyxxlynda
Oh, I certainly will enjoy, Lynda. I’m even enjoying the process! xo
LOVE your sacred space. Make sure you get hubby to put in more outlets (double!) than you think you will ever need. Multibox powerboards are such a pain. I’m very excited for you!
xxx sue:)
Outlets, yes. We’re in the process of discussing all that right now, Sue. ANd I’m very excited for me too!
you can’t have too many outlets or too much cupboard space. ever. 🙂
Totally agree, Timory and Sue. That’s why I’m trying to organize the cabinets and storage as logically as possible. I even broke down and bought the latest issue of Studios magazine hoping to pick up some tips.
