One hundred days ago I began a daily practice of photographing my horses.
One hundred days. Who’da thunk it?
Something interesting happened during that time…
I fell in love with Lana.
With Saki.
With Jasmine.
Fell in love with them all over again. Let my heart open up to them once more. Even tho they’re old and will break it soon enough.
I no longer worry about being vulnerable because I’m learning to EXPERIENCE the present. To embrace what is, RIGHT NOW. Including me, at this stage of my life, gray hair and all.
One hundred days and an iphone…who’da thunk it?
Love it, it’s great. Like a teenager just doing your thing, seeing what you see, how it feels, ignoring the rest. This is the only way to fall in love! Thanks for reminding us how. <3

You are welcome, Miz Suzi.
Now go embrace the moment 🙂
Congrats Susan. It is an awesome task I think a 100
Days takes dedication. Like you said changes happen when we focus
Being present consistently
As I was taking this morning’s photos, Visma, I realized how this has become a daily part of my life…how I look at the horses differently, how they look at me differently…I can’t imagine not doing this now. Even on days when I’m rushed, there’s always a moment I can capture with a photo.
You are inspiring, as usual.
🙂 to you, Karen!
I love all the love that you are sharing about your horses and for yourself. Beautiful. I have really enjoyed seeing many of your photos. xo
