It’s 30/30 time again, sweetums. A painting a day for the month of September. Some of you may remember when I did this back in January. Instead of painting tho, I taught myself digital art and created the Women in Red series.
You can check those out under Archives in the sidebar to the right. Scroll down to January 2014 and have at it.
This time it’s paint and canvas, albeit small canvases. I’m starting with 8 x 8 inches because I happen to have a box of ’em in the studio. Size will change as I deplete my inventory but my theme–California Impressions, will remain.
Here’s Day # 1.
With any painting, coming up with the idea is the hardest part. In the interest of growing and stretching creatively, I think I’ll do another variation of this image tomorrow. Abstract it some more. Play with the color and see what happens.
Come back tomorrow and check it out.
As always, love to hear your thoughts in the comments below.
Go Susan! I look forward to seeing your paintings =) Hopefully I’ll be able to join up in June for the next 30 in 30, too much going on for me right now (that and I don’t know anything about painting – guess 30 paintings might teach me a thing or two haha)

I guarantee that by the end of 30 days you’ll know something about painting. Rebekah–at least more than you did at the start 🙂
